Welcome to our new website. We are currently working on uploading many photos from the many thousands that I have taken over the years. It is nice to finally do something creative with them, even if it means pushing them up to a website. This will be my site for all things creative, just for the fun of it.  I am an avid photographer, my favorite subjects being wildlife, pets, children and floral subjects. I would someday love to offer photography for children, capturing the candid side of their fun little spirits, rather than a stuffy photography studio with limited backgrounds. I love capturing what kids do best, playing, laughing, having fun, and their array of facial expressions. Besides children, I also enjoy equine photography,since I am an avid horse person, owning a Quarter Horse and a Friesian mare. They are often the subjects of my photography and daily blog and how their training is progressing. My camera is with me in most cases, I have caught many great wildlife shots at the spur of the moment and in a flash before my subject scurried off. My favorite shots were of a gorgeous buck that I had to drive into a church parking lot to get. This picture was unfortunately lost along with another ten thousand when my external hard drive was damaged. (That will teach me to back things up 😉 )I did however manage to save and post a beautiful fawn picture I took in autumn. I was driving to a rummage sale when I caught this little fawn standing in the yard. One never knows what beauty they will see in life if they just take the time to stop and look close enough or to stop and smell the roses as the old saying goes. 🙂

I will also be posting some of my wildlife art as I continue to draw and complete illustrations. I love to draw in ink, sometimes adding water color if I wish to add color to my drawings. I am currently working on a black-and-white ink drawing of a tortoise. Considering I have been out of practice for about 7 years, (busy with my 2 young girls) I think it coming along quite well. Random jewelry may also be posted from time-to-time, as completed. Besides drawing and photography, I am also a graphic designer, now it is just time to try and find some spare moments to work on these endeavors!

It was always me in the past, but it is also nice to now be joined by my fiancee who is also growing into a photo nut. Keep watching for our new pictures, art pieces and jewelry!
